Terms of Service
Last updated 4 November 2026 · Version 0.1 (draft, pending legal review)
These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and Bump for using the Bump website and platform. Please read them. By joining Bump, creating an account or using a campaign, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Bump.
Bump is in closed beta. These terms describe the full platform. Some features they cover, such as accounts, campaigns, payments and payouts, may not be open to you yet. Each part applies from the moment the feature it covers is available to you. Joining the waitlist doesn't create an account or guarantee an invite.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Philippine consumer law or other laws that can't be waived by contract.

1. About Bump
Bump ("Bump", "we", "us") is run from the Philippines. You can reach us at team@bump.ph.
Bump is an online marketplace for content campaigns. Campaign hosts (artists, brands, media owners and agencies) fund campaigns. Creators make or post short-form content for them on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts and are paid by the campaign's rules. Bump connects the two, checks views, reviews submissions and arranges payment. Bump isn't the employer, agent or partner of any host or creator, and creators work as independent parties.
2. Who can use Bump
- You must be at least 16 to use Bump.
- If you're 16 or 17, you may join only as a creator, and only with the consent of your parent or legal guardian. They must agree to these terms on your behalf and are responsible for your use of Bump. Payouts for creators under 18 go to an account in the parent's or guardian's name.
- Campaign hosts must be at least 18 and able to enter into contracts. If you use Bump for a business or agency, you confirm that you're allowed to bind it to these terms.
- You can't use Bump if we've banned you before, or if the law where you live doesn't allow it.
3. Waitlist and closed beta
Bump opens in stages. We invite people from the waitlist at our discretion, and we may limit who can join, which features they can use and how many campaigns run. Beta features can change, pause or end, and may have bugs. We'll tell you before a change that takes away something you've paid for or earned.
4. Your account
- Give accurate, current information and keep it up to date, including your payout and tax details.
- One person or business, one account, unless we approve more (agencies can manage several clients from one account).
- Keep your sign-in details private. You're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once at team@bump.ph if you think someone else has used it.
- Your account is personal: don't sell, rent or transfer it.
- We may ask you to verify the social accounts you link before you can submit to campaigns.
5. For campaign hosts
- Your brief must say clearly what creators should make, where it should be posted, how it's paid (per 1,000 verified views, per approved post, a fixed fee, a sales bonus, or a mix), any minimum views before a post pays, the deadline and the approval criteria.
- Once creators have started posting, you can't change a campaign's pay rate, rules or approval criteria to their disadvantage. Changes apply only to work submitted after the change is published.
- You confirm you own or have permission to use everything you give creators (videos, music, logos, product claims), and that creators may use it as your brief describes.
- Your campaign and claims must be lawful, true and not misleading, and must not promote anything illegal, unsafe or prohibited by the platforms content will be posted on.
- A campaign marked "Coming soon" isn't funded. It can collect interest from creators, but it isn't paid work until you fund it, and Bump will label it that way.
- A campaign may receive more approved submissions than its budget covers. Only those paid within the budget, by the campaign's rules, are paid.
6. For creators
- Follow the campaign brief, these terms, and the rules of the platform you post on.
- Submit only content you made or have the right to use, posted from social accounts you own or control.
- Keep a submitted post public and unedited for as long as the campaign's view-tracking period requires (usually 30 days from when you submit the link).
- Joining a campaign doesn't guarantee approval or earnings. What you earn depends on approval, verified views and the campaign's budget.
7. Submissions, view checks and approval
- Bump reads view counts from the linked account for the campaign's tracking period, usually 30 days after the link is submitted. Only real views count.
- Software flags possible bots, bought views and other manipulation. A person reviews every flag before a submission is rejected or earnings are held.
- Bump reviews submissions against the host's published brief, and the host may review them too. Creative approval, view verification and the payment calculation are separate steps.
- If a submission is rejected or earnings are held, we'll tell you why. See section 13 for appeals.
8. Fair play: what's not allowed
Don't use Bump to:
- buy, fake or inflate views, likes, comments or followers, or use bots, view farms, engagement pods, automation or anything else that creates activity that isn't real;
- submit someone else's content, reuse a post across campaigns when the brief doesn't allow it, or submit from accounts you don't control;
- post content that's illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, harassing, or that exploits minors;
- make false or misleading claims about a product, a host, earnings or results;
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- get around Bump's fees, for example by arranging payment outside Bump for work found through Bump;
- interfere with Bump's systems, scrape them, probe them for weaknesses or access accounts that aren't yours;
- open multiple accounts to get around limits, bans or campaign rules.
Earnings from breaking these rules aren't payable. We may remove the content from the campaign, cancel those earnings, and suspend or close the account (section 13). Repeat or serious cheating means a permanent ban.
9. Who owns the content
- Creators keep ownership of the content they make.
- When your submission is approved, you give the campaign's host a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, repost, share, caption and promote that content to promote what the campaign was for, for 12 months from approval, unless the brief states otherwise. The host may not sell the content or use it for anything else without your separate agreement.
- You give Bump a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, display and analyse your submissions to run Bump (reviews, view checks, disputes), and to show them on Bump and in Bump's own promotion with credit to you. You can ask us to stop using a post in our own promotion at any time.
- Hosts keep ownership of what they provide (source videos, music, logos) and give creators in the campaign a licence to use it only to make and post content for that campaign.
- Sound campaigns: the host confirms it controls the rights needed for creators to use the song in posts on the platforms listed in the brief. Creators should use the platform's official sound where the brief asks for it.
- Your profile and portfolio may show your approved work and results, unless the brief marks a campaign as confidential.
10. Copyright and trademark complaints
If you believe content on Bump infringes your copyright or trademark, send a notice to team@bump.ph with:
- your name and contact details, and whether you're the owner or authorised to act for them;
- a description of the work or mark you say is infringed;
- the link or location of the content on Bump;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorised by the owner or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and your signature (typed is fine).
We'll review the notice and may remove or disable the content and tell the person who submitted it, who can send a counter-notice explaining why the removal was a mistake. We close the accounts of repeat infringers. Knowingly sending a false notice or counter-notice may make you liable for damages.
11. Money: budgets, fees, earnings and payouts
Payments and payouts will be processed by a provider registered with or licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, named here before payments open. Bump isn't a bank or an e-money issuer: a balance shown in your account is a record of earnings payable to you, not a deposit, and doesn't earn interest.
Campaign hosts:
- You pay the full campaign budget up front, before the campaign goes live.
- Bump keeps a campaign fee of 10% of the total budget. Example: on a ₱100,000 budget, Bump keeps ₱10,000 and ₱90,000 is available for creators.
- When the campaign ends, any budget not paid out to creators is refunded to you. We'll set out how and when here before payments open. The campaign fee isn't refunded, except where the law requires or Bump cancels the campaign.
- Prices are shown before you pay, including any taxes that apply.
- Chargebacks and reversed payments are your responsibility. If your bank, card company or e-wallet reverses a payment you made to Bump, you still owe Bump that amount in full, plus any fee the payment provider charges us for the reversal. This applies even if the money was already spent on a campaign or paid to creators.
- We may take what you owe from your wallet and from any unspent campaign budget, pause your campaigns and restrict your account until it's paid, and collect the rest from you. If your wallet goes below zero, your campaigns stay paused until you bring it back to zero.
- A reversed payment doesn't reduce what creators earned under the campaign's rules. They keep those earnings, and the cost falls on you.
- If something is wrong with a payment, please write to team@bump.ph before you contact your bank. This doesn't take away your right to dispute a payment you didn't authorize.
Creators:
- Bump keeps a payout fee of 10% of every payout. Example: if you earn ₱1,000, Bump keeps ₱100 and you receive ₱900. Your earnings screen shows the amount before and after the fee.
- View earnings are counted in 7-day rounds, then held for 3 days of checks before they can be withdrawn. Earnings per approved post or fixed fees can be withdrawn once the post is approved.
- You can withdraw to GCash, Maya or a Philippine bank account in your name. There's no minimum withdrawal. Your payout provider may charge its own fees, which we'll show before you confirm.
- We may hold earnings while we investigate suspected fraud, a dispute or a legal requirement, and we'll tell you why. Earnings found to come from fake activity or a breach of these terms are cancelled.
- Some withdrawals wait for a person to check them before they go out, such as large ones. We'll show you when that's happening. If we don't send one, the money returns to your balance and we'll tell you why.
- If your account is closed, approved earnings that weren't obtained by breaking these terms remain yours, and we'll pay them out after any checks. Balances nobody claims are handled as the law requires.
Disputes about a payment: contact team@bump.ph.
12. Taxes
You're responsible for your own taxes on what you earn or spend on Bump, including registering with the Bureau of Internal Revenue where required. Where Philippine tax rules require Bump or our payment partner to withhold tax from payouts, issue certificates or report payments to the BIR, we'll do so, and the withheld amount will be shown on your earnings statement.
13. Suspension, closure and appeals
- We may remove content, reject submissions, hold earnings, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, puts other users at risk, or that we're legally required to act on. We'll tell you the reason, unless the law or an investigation stops us.
- Appeals: you can appeal any hold, suspension or closure once, within 14 days, from the page you see when you log in, or by replying to our notice or writing to team@bump.ph. A person who wasn't involved in the first decision will review it, and we'll tell you the outcome and the reason.
- While your account is suspended you can still read help and contact us, and money you've earned stays yours, except earnings cancelled under these terms.
- Stopped pay: if we stop a post's pay after a host's report, you can appeal once, from the post's page, while its campaign is running. A campaign can't end for at least 3 days after we stop it.
- Rejected posts: you can appeal a rejected post once, from the post's page, while its campaign is running. A campaign can't end for at least 3 days after a rejection, so you always have that long.
- You can close your account from your settings or by writing to us, once your money, open posts and campaigns are settled. We keep it for 30 days in case you change your mind, then delete it. Sections that by their nature should continue (content licences already granted, payment of approved earnings, liability, disputes) continue after closure.
14. Complaints
If something goes wrong with a campaign, a payment or another user, contact us first at team@bump.ph or through support in your account. We'll acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 7 calendar days. If it isn't resolved, you can go to the Department of Trade and Industry or another competent authority. This doesn't stop you from going to court where the law allows.
15. What we promise, and what we don't
We'll provide Bump with reasonable care and skill. We don't guarantee that any campaign will reach a number of views, sales or results, that any creator will earn a particular amount, or that Bump will always be available without interruption. Bump depends on social platforms whose rules, features and data we don't control.
Hosts and creators are each responsible for their own content, claims and conduct. Bump reviews submissions, but it doesn't check everything users say or post.
16. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Bump isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost opportunities, and Bump's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Bump, or for creators the payout fees deducted from your earnings, in the 12 months before the claim.
None of this limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
17. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against Bump because of content you submitted or provided, your breach of these terms or your violation of the law or someone's rights, you agree to cover Bump's reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows. We'll tell you about the claim and let you take part in its defence.
Campaign hosts also agree to cover Bump's reasonable losses and costs from a chargeback or reversed payment on their account, including the cost of collecting it, to the extent the law allows.
18. Changes to these terms
We'll update the date and version at the top whenever these terms change. For changes that materially affect you, we'll tell you by email or in Bump at least 15 days before they take effect. Changes never apply to campaigns already funded or work already submitted, unless the law requires them. If you don't agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Disputes go to the competent courts of the Philippines, without taking away your right as a consumer to use the courts or authorities of where you live, or protections of your own country's law that can't be waived.
20. General
- These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and each campaign's brief, are the whole agreement between you and Bump about Bump. If a brief conflicts with these terms, these terms win, unless the brief is more favourable to the creator.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
- You can't transfer these terms to someone else without our agreement. We can transfer them to a successor of Bump's business, who must keep to them.
- We'll contact you by email or in Bump, and you can contact us at team@bump.ph.
